How puff counts are measured

Manufacturers test puff counts on a machine that takes short, consistent puffs (around 1.5–2 seconds) at fixed intervals. Real humans vary a lot: a long, deep lung hit can use two to three times the e-liquid of a short mouth-to-lung puff. That is why the same device lasts one person three weeks and another ten days.

In other words the printed number is a capacity indicator, not a promise. It is useful for comparing devices, but read it as “up to” rather than “exactly”.

• Light user (~150–250 puffs/day): around 5–8 weeks.
• Average user (~350–500 puffs/day): around 3.5–5 weeks.

These ranges assume normal puff length. Chain-vaping heats the coil more aggressively and vaporises more liquid per second, shortening total lifespan.

• Take shorter draws. A 2-second puff delivers plenty of flavour without over-consuming liquid.
• Pause between puffs so the coil cools — better flavour, less waste.
• Recharge before it is flat. A quick top-up keeps vapour consistent.
• Store it upright and cool. Heat thins the liquid and can cause leaking.
